His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej

Being the 21st Year of the Present Reign
His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej has graciously proclaimed that, whereas it is expedient to enact a law concerning chambers of commerce, this Act is therefore enacted by and with the advice and consent of the Constitution Drafting Assembly acting as the National Assembly, as follows:
This Act shall be called the “Chamber of Commerce Act B.E. 2509 (1966).”
This Act shall come into force from the day following its publication in the Government Gazette.
All laws, rules, and regulations previously enacted, insofar as they contain provisions already prescribed in this Act or are contrary to or inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, shall be replaced by the provisions of this Act.
